Finding Our Wings 2011 (4-Minute Trailer)The Finding Our Wings Collective's mission cultivates self-respect for inner city girls becoming women. This respect needs to be manifested globally so that inner city teen-women recognize their agency to become community, national and global leaders. The self- esteem needed to step forward into leadership begins with being seen and heard in a safe space.
Finding Our Wings: Acknowledging Teen Pregnancy (7-Minute Trailer )In April 2009, the young women who participate in the Finding Our Wings Community Documentary Program created their first narrative story about teen pregnancy. Included in this trailer is a look at the catalyst for their "Cicadas Teen Pregnancy" story and the poignant conversation that followed its creation.
